Hand-poured using pure beeswax, this characterful candle takes the form of three wonderfully wonky spellbooks stacked one upon another. Each book has its own sculpted spine, with “Spooky Spells”, “Curses” and “Potions” picked out in raised lettering, giving the whole piece the feel of something borrowed straight from a witch's bookshelf.

From the uneven edges of the old books to the dripping wax detail creeping across the bottom volume, there is plenty to discover in this compact design. The naturally rich golden colour of the beeswax catches the raised lettering and textures beautifully, creating deeper shadows that really bring the sculpting to life.

It's a lovely choice for Halloween displays, witchy décor and dark academia-inspired interiors, and pairs particularly well with ravens, owls, pumpkins and other pieces from the Halloween Collection. Candle Safety

• Keep away from flammable materials, draughts, curtains and furnishings.

• Keep the wick trimmed to approximately 5mm before lighting or relighting.

• Due to its sculpted design, wax may melt unevenly as the candle burns.

• Allow the candle, melted wax and holder to cool completely before handling.
